Emergency & Trauma Services Booklet
In 2003, I had the chance to work closely with members of North Memorial Health Care’s marketing department to create a capabilities brochure for the organization’s Emergency and Trauma Services (ETS) department. North Memorial is a nationally recognized Level I Trama Center. With a high profile, it was very important this brochure:
- reflect the organization’s integrity and leadership in the industry
- convey a sense of being technologically advanced
- clearly portray the unique aspects of North Memorial’s ETS vs. other Level I trauma centers in the region
- feel welcoming
The brochure was meant to communicate with referrers such as physicians, nurses, fire and police departments and other care providers — those who would send patients to North Memorial for Level I trauma care. It was also meant to feel like a booklet that should be kept as a reference, not a brochure meant to be read and tossed in the trash.
